Voting Conservative Kills !

As your average Brit will always compare himself / herself to Germany . How did we perform in this crisis . Why have we dispatched an extra 10,000 people or so , including about 100 NHS staff .
Number One ,
 In the beginning Germany locked down over ten days in advance of the UK .
New Zealand & Australia 18th March . Two days prior to that .
Remember the disease first showed up on the 30th January in England .
Lock down only began on Sunday 30th March .

Number Two ,
 Access to manufacturers of ventilators & PPE equipment . Germany and the UK were both adequately equipped with , the difference only being that most of the UK PPE had disappeared back to the US , due to the Pandemic central being caught in moving bases mode . The base was administered by a US company , of course .

Number Three ,
Testing ( the ball was dropped ). The above meant that getting testing re-started was pretty efficient . Although of course Germany never had to re-start testing . As Germany kept up with demand by locking down earlier and track and tracing All through the Pandemic .

Number Four
Is Redemption possible ? Yes , the hunt for an Alleviator / vaccine Is pretty Intense & the UK companies are slightly ahead of the curve at present . Let`s hope this time . The UK makes It`s presence felt .

Opening up has begun with 200 deaths per day average .
In Germany they waited to be under 100 average

The study estimates 80% of those initial cases arrived in the country between 28 Feb and 29 March - the time the UK was debating whether to lockdown.

After this point, the number of new imported cases diminished rapidly.

The earliest one could be traced back to the beginning of February, but it is possible there were cases even earlier that could not be picked up by the analysis
